hasratein dil ki toot k choor kyun hai
haalaton k giraft mein haunsla majboor kyun hai
khwaabon ka haqeeqat hona mumkin nahi
teri duniya mein aakhir aisa dastoor kyun hai
jisko apne dil k kareeb karne ki tamanna liye hoon
woh shaqs aaj meri nigaahon se door kyun hai
koshishein jazbe k bagair kamyaab hoti nahi
shikast-e-khauff ka usko ye fitoor kyun hai
