ek satrangi subah phir se sehra mein ubhar rahi hai
baarish k boondon se ho k zameen per bikhar rahi hai
baadalon k darmiyaan kehkashaan ki raushaniyon mein
ummeed ki ghataon tale nayi zindagi nikhar rahi hai
ab toh waqt bhi tham sa raha hai do pal ye soch kar
jaise k is sama k aagey phir koi rehguzar nahi hai
main ab aaj ki kurbat mein kal ko bhoola raha hoon
lag raha hai k ab mujhe nakaamiyon ka darr nahi hai
phir anjaam ka silsila chaahe kuch bhi kyun na ho
ek sukoon mein mubtila hoon kal ki khabar nahi hai
